Mother Majestic

2:29 minutes

Mother Majestic

A Hero screaming with fury, dies.
Face in mud. Holding nothing but a rifle.
Sing his song. His memory lives on.
Immortal.

An Artist paints her sorrow.
Her heart a torn battlefield.
No emotion to discard.
Holding nothing but a brush.
Beautiful. Her art lives on.
Immortal.

A woman struggles forsaken
Birthing her firstborn.
Near death, Mother gives life.
Valiant. Defiant. Yet, tender.
Immortal.

One dies, one cries, one lives.
Of these three immortals,
Mother Majestic, I love you most.
Benevolently choosing the harder road,
living life for a hungry son.
Choosing not to die or cry, but to live life alive.

Quiet stillness. Sitting by a glowing angel.
Such deep inexpressible reverence.
Basking in your pleasant brilliance,
a warm blanket of devotion enfolds me.

Deny me not this moment.
Open and pour.
Ask. Speak. Inquire.
Request. Question.
Anything. Soon.
I crave your heavenly voice.

Wilted

2:50 minutes

The poison that she drinks

And the lies he has her say

The choices that she makes

They keep pushing me away

He trickles down her throat,

Taking her consciousness as he goes,

What was once a field of tulips,

Is now a wilted rose

He steals her every thought,

He robs her pockets clean,

Taking life, and wounding me,

He does more than it may seem

Screaming, fighting, it doesn’t help

At least not to set her free,

She may be captured by just one ghost,

But is blinded and can’t see

The emptiness that fills her soul,

The weakness of her lean,

I swear, I keep on looking,

But she’s nowhere to be seen

How evil and how horrid,

That man the secret key,

And for two ninety-nine a bottle,

He stole her, too, from me.

Puzzle

4:37 minutes

Everyone takes things in differently.

and that is valid.

to feel pain

is to be human,

and to be human

is to struggle

from time to time,

just remember

rock bottom

is not your home,

it’s a temporary stop

on this journey of life.

A person may say,

“It’s okay,”

but you are probably tired of hearing it by now.

so, I will not tell you that it is okay,

because you might not believe me,

but I will tell you this:

you have had happy moments in the past;

there’s no reason

for you not to have them

in the future again.

my dear,

there are brighter things on your horizons

if you just hold on

a little longer.

Warriors

7:10 minutes

We have been born, as Nephi of old, To goodly parents who love the Lord.
We have been taught, and we understand, That we must do as the Lord commands.
We are as the army of Helaman.
We have been taught in our youth.
And we will be the Lord’s missionaries To bring the world his truth.
We have been saved for these latter days To build the kingdom in righteous ways.
We hear the words our prophet declares: “
Let each who’s worthy go forth and share.”
We are as the army of Helaman.
We have been taught in our youth.
And we will be the Lord’s missionaries To bring the world his truth.
We know his plan, and we will prepare, Increase our knowledge through study and prayer.
Daily we’ll learn until we are called To take the gospel to all the world.
We are as the army of Helaman.
We have been taught in our youth.
And we will be the Lord’s missionaries To bring the world his truth.
To bring the world his truth.
