Light Around the Edges

Light Around the Edges — A meditation in gray.

This piece began with a simple exchange:
“If today were a color, what would it be?”

The answer — from two different continents — was the same.

Gray.

Not the gray of despair.
Not the gray of absence.
But the gray where light lingers quietly at the margins.

This video blends spoken poetry, ambient neo-classical piano, and abstract imagery to explore the emotional space between shadow and sun — the place where fatigue coexists with presence, where restraint holds warmth, and where brightness works softly around the edges.

No characters.
No literal narrative.
Only texture, tone, breath, and light.

Music: Ambient neo-classical, sparse piano in D minor, subtle harmonic swell in the closing movement.
Visual Language: Diffused daylight, muted grayscale palettes, tactile surfaces, horizon lines dissolving into cloud.
Theme: Interior depth, quiet endurance, restrained hope.

For anyone who has ever felt gray —
and discovered it was not emptiness,
but atmosphere.

If this resonated with you, leave a word in the comments:
What color was your day?
