ALIVE, ALIVE
“ALIVE, ALIVE” for Craig Cornwall, the Raven
This music video, “Alive, Alive” is for my friend Craig. Parkinson’s disease has him dancing one last dance. But love is stronger than death. It’s one of the few things we take with us into the next life, “Walking on Sunshine.”
UNDERSTOOD
Step into a twilight moment where recognition and mystery intertwine. “UNDERSTOOD – Wetland Fantasy” is a cinematic journey of longing, silence, and the rare spark of being truly seen.
Through layered imagery and an original score, this film drifts between shadow and light—where voices fade, yet emotion lingers like a secret flame. It’s both intimate and expansive, a reflection on connection that feels fragile, powerful, and transformative.

Chapel of Thorns – Production Notes
Overview
Chapel of Thorns is a four-movement audiovisual project combining music, narrative voiceover, and AI-generated visuals into a ritualistic cinematic experience. The work explores tension, desire, reclamation, and liberation within a Gothic cathedral setting.
Structure & Movements
- Prologue – Abstract voiceover sets the stage: fire, ritual, chaos, obsession.
- Movement I – Shadows Stir (F minor, 60 BPM): Establishing tension, atmosphere, and introduction of the cathedral space.
- Movement II – Grinding Ritual (A major, 80 BPM): Escalation of energy and choreography of passion. Includes masked couples and ritualistic imagery.
- Movement III – Union and Claim (D# minor, 96 BPM): Climax of ritual, heightened intimacy, and struggle for transcendence.
- Movement IV – Ashes and Liberation (C# major, 85 BPM): Release, aftermath, and symbolic liberation.
- Epilogue – The ritual concludes, but its echo and fire remain.
Narrative Elements
- Voiceovers: Delivered as interludes between movements, alternating male and female perspectives (first-person view). Abstract, poetic, and ritualistic in tone.
- Devouring Mother Motif: A recurring flash image — a haggard witch in Victorian garb with a crown of thorns — punctuates her spoken lines, representing the lurking, admonishing presence.
Visuals
- Primary Setting: Gothic cathedral interiors — arches, stained glass, stone carvings, spiral staircases, altar spaces.
- Characters: Male and female figures, exhausted and entwined in ritual sequences, as well as groups of masked couples.
- B-Roll: Architectural details (windows, statues, carvings, candlelight, dust-filled beams of light). Used for transitions and atmospheric depth.
- Orchestra: A small ensemble of strings and piano is depicted performing in cathedral space, woven into the ritualistic mood.
Sound Design
- Musical Keys & Tempos:
- I – F minor, 60 BPM
- II – A major, 80 BPM
- III – D# minor, 96 BPM
- IV – C# major, 85 BPM
- Transitions: Atmospheric drones, risers, braams, piano stingers, and swells used to bridge tonal shifts between movements.
- Textures: Heavy use of drones, pads, tonal beds, and reverse cymbals for immersion.
Production Approach
- AI Tools: MidJourney for imagery, ElevenLabs for voiceovers, video editing software for final assembly and mixing.
- Workflow: Iterative generation of imagery, refining prompts to balance atmosphere, symbolism, and “pseudo-erotic” undertones without explicitness.
- Visual Strategy: Use of repetition (motifs like the devouring mother), atmospheric details (dust, haze, colored light), and extreme close-ups for emotional impact.
Themes
- Ritual vs. Desire
- Chaos vs. Control
- Forbidden Union
- Liberation through transgression
VELVET DRIP
VELVET DRIP: Nocturnal Submission is a descent into a dream-laden dystopia where desire, memory, and shadow collide.
Through layered montage, original score, and whispered narration, the film drifts between the mechanical grind of the waking world and the haunting presence of an archetypal figure emerging from the dreamscape.
This is not linear cinema but an assemblage of subconscious fragments: rain-soaked cities, phantom encounters, and the restless pull between dream and flesh. A meditation on release, loss, and the surrender that comes before transformation.

Final Deliverables: Master video file (.mp4), audio stems separated (music, narration, SFX). Final audio compression with Audacity. - Notes for Crew Consistency is critical: hair, outfits, eye color, and lighting must anchor each character.
Keep dream sequences distinct but not disconnected — transitions must feel like bleed-through, not jump cuts.
Silence is as important as sound: leave breathing space in mix.

MOTHER WARNED ME
Our Secret Flame
Our Secret Flame
Verse 1 (male vocalist):
This is the place
where we begin
Begin to explore
Verse 2: (female vocalist)
each other’s eyes
portals to oceans deep
deep as space
deep as love
Pre-Chorus (male vocalist):
feel our breaths begin to entwine
pulsing, beating, rhythmic
like a current, running deep
Water and fire
those are you
Verse 3 (female vocalist):
feel the thunder, hear the rain
touch the lightning blade
Chorus (duet vocal):
I feel the energy
I feel you
And my heart is full
Bridge (female vocalist):
Like a hurricane
between earth and sea
Mixing the forces of nature
suddenly beginning, suddenly still
Verse 4 (male vocalist):
Paradox
You and me
Verse 5 (male vocalist):
Pandora’s Box;
under lock and key
hidden from the world
Only we know the power
Verse 6 (male vocalist):
What do you want from me?
What shall I say to someone so open?
Verse 7 (female vocalist):
Hold my secret on your lips
hold it softly, as you would the daylight filtered through the trees
And watch me, as you would watch a green leaf on the wind
Verse 8 (male vocalist):
And I would say,
“Tell me that you love me!”
Chorus (duet vocal):
I feel it
I feel you
And my heart is full
Outro (Both):
Our secret flame
Our secret flame
Pulled by water and fire
Bound by lightning and rain
SHOCKING
What’s really happening when love feels like a chase — when one person longs for closeness and the other pulls away? This shocking cycle is known as the anxious–avoidant trap.
It’s the hidden dynamic between partners with anxious attachment and those with avoidant or fearful-avoidant attachment styles. One fears abandonment, the other fears being consumed. Together, they create a powerful but painful loop of pursuit and withdrawal.
This video explores the push-pull rhythm of the anxious avoidant cycle through story, metaphor, and haunting visuals — showing why it feels magnetic, why it hurts so much, and why breaking free is so difficult.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in a relationship where the closer you reached, the further they drifted… this will resonate.
